So tell us a story about your pet, or you and your pet. Is your pet a hero, a comedian, a faithful companion, a mystery? Has yourpet had an encounter with a strange animal or well-known person? Does your pet sleep with a sick child, know when you need extra affection, supervise your gardening or household chores or perform unusual tricks on command? Does your pet go to work with your or vacation with you? We’d love for you to tell us about it!

My family and I have tried to train our cat, Pookie, but it seems like he trains us. When my cat is inside the house for the night, he often gets a little grouchy. So he decides to get revenge at four in the morning. Pookie will go up the stairs and start meowing as loud as he can outside my door. Sometimes I try to ignore him, but it doesn't work. He will throw himself against my door until it opens. That's when I decide to get up and let him out. Other times Pookie will stop meowing for just enough time for me to fall back asleep. But all too soon he will start meowing again; only this time it's more like crying. I feel so bad that I will let him out. Pookie is a very smart cat, he has trained me that when he meows outside my door, it means that he wants to go outside.
