Picture Perfect Pet Photo Contest Rules
- Contest is open to adults over the age of 18 in the US. No international entries.
- The contest is limited to dogs, cats and birds. Your photo may include more than one pet. You may submit more than one photo.
- Your entry must be sent via email. Image File maximum is 4MB, jpg, gif, png. Image size maximum is 2592 x 1944 pixels.
- You agree not to upload, post or otherwise make available to PetStress.com any material protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner of the copyright, trademark or proprietary right or you must be the sole owner and copyright holder of the material you submit. You agree and acknowledge that you have the burden of determining whether any material is not protected by copyright.
- By submitting your material you grant us (or warrant the owner of such material has expressly granted us) the world-wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate and distribute such material (in whole or in part) and/or to incorporate it into other works in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed for the full term of any copyright that may exist in such material. You grant PetStress.com the right to edit, copy, publish and distribute any material made available to us by you. PetStress.com retains the right to reject inappropriate or obscene material.
- Judging will be by user voting. Each user may vote once per photo per day, and may vote for as many entered photos as they like. Voting will be by clicking on stars to rank photos. The number of stars each photo receives is tallied by computer. In order to receive more stars for your pet photo you can forward the contest link with your pet's name to as many people as possible.
- The contest winner will be determined based on receiving the highest number of stars from among the photos entered for the contest period.
- In case of a tie in ranking by stars, the contest winner will be determined based on receiving the highest number of votes. In case of a tie in the number of votes, the winner will be selected by random drawing among the tied-vote entered photos.
- Contest submittal and voting ends at midnight EST on the last day of the month. We will attempt to notify you via your provided email if your photo wins; the winner will be announced on the web site shortly after the contest ends. All decisions are final.
- The prize is a $50 gift certificate.
- The Winner will receive their prize 4-6 weeks after notification.
- Winners have 90 days after the contest end date to respond to us in order to claim their prize.
- Contest ends at 11:59 PM on the last day of the calendar month. Winners will be notified via email; they will be announced on the web site on the first business day of the next calendar month or shortly thereafter. All decisions are final.
- A household is eligible to win only one monthly prize during the Contest year (October 2009 through September 2010).
- A monthly winner is eligible to win the Grand Prize at the end of the Contest year (September 2010). The Grand Prize winner will be drawn from the monthly prize winners from the Contest year.
- The Grand Prize is a flip video camcorder.
