Lulu and Norman, the English Bulldogs who were winners of our October Pet Photo Contest, have new car seatbelt dog harnesses, purchased by their owners, Eunice and Dave Oleksiw, with the $50 gift certificate they won. Eunice’s wonderful photos of the dogs’ maiden voyage tell the whole story.
Eunice said “we got them and tried them out. The dogs knew right away something was up when they jumped into the car.”
“We only drove to get coffee, but they worked great,” she told us.
Eunice and Dave had wanted seatbelts to “keep the dogs from bouncing from window to window like jumping beans.” And they were able to get them just in time for their upcoming move to a new house.
We love the expressions on the dogs’ faces in these photos. Thank you, Eunice, for sending them to us!

Eunice, a devoted dog owner, told us, “I’m happy to win and I’m going to use the $50 gift certificate to buy car seat belt harnesses for our dogs to keep them strapped in and safe. The seat belt harnesses will keep them from jumping around in the back seat like jumping beans from window to window and keep Lulu from trying to get into the front seat and then on your lap.”
