Pet Stress and Pet Behavior Problems

We were able to catch up with Melissa, owner of Molly, and get some more information about this Miniature Schnauzer. Molly’s birthday was just a few days ago on July 8th. Happy Birthday Molly!

To quote Melissa,

“I was given Molly as a birthday present in 2004; she was 3 mos old. Molly had a problem with her right eye as a small puppy and it developed into glaucoma in 2005; her eye was removed at that time. She has adjusted very well and never misses much of anything going on!

“Molly loves car rides, chasing her pink tennis ball, and snuggling! She is very affectionate and loves everyone! Molly has surprised me on how she is able to do anything any other dog can do with her limited vision.”

Melissa plans to use Molly’s $25 toward her medicine to fight fleas and ticks for the summer- sounds like a good cause!

Chloe on her first day with Morgan

We were able to catch up with Morgan, Chloe’s owner, and find out more about this Mini Schnauzer.

“We purchased Chloe when she was 8 weeks old. She was the last one left of the litter – the people just couldn’t seem to get rid of her. But when we saw her we fell in love. Chloe will be 10 months old.”

“Her favorite thing to do is play chase, she is a fast little thing. We run around the living room and she will dodge under the coffee table or behind the couch then come up behind you without you knowing. Chloe’s favorite toy is a little dog that is just about her same size; she loves to drag it around with her every where she goes. Chloe plans on spending the 50 dollar gift card buying a new Frisbee and tennis ball because her other favorite thing to do is play catch.”

We were able to catch up with Kiley, owner of this beautiful Pomeranian. Here’s what she wrote to us about her winning dog:

“Avery, two year old Pomeranian, plans to take another trip to the groomer with his $50 gift card won from the April Picture Perfect Pet Photo Contest.  Avery craves attention; he enjoys bath time, being brushed and petted.  Avery also enjoys shopping sprees at Pets Mart; he is able to find all of his favorite snacks, toys, accessories and attire there.  Avery likes to relax and partake in nap time after a long day of looking cute and doing tricks.”
 

“We were blessed to have Avery Foxworth enter our lives on 8/8/2008.  He has been a wonderful addition to our family and we could not imagine life without his energy, intelligence and loving nature.  Avery was born in Avery, North Carolina.  We traveled two hours to pick him up and bring him home with us where he has since then brightened our lives every day.”
